The husband and I have finally collapsed on the sofa after a weekend of partying...Matilda's 5th Birthday party happened yesterday. Thirty children joined in the celebrations together with local Queen Of Stories who provided a magical hour of storytelling, in which the children remained entranced.
Scooby Doo was the theme and he even made a special appearance at the end! Matilda had a wonderful time and when asked what her favourite moments were she replied 'my cake and dancing with Scooby Doo'! Can't get better than that.
I want to say a very special thank you to our wonderful friends Lisa, Mathew, Alex and Matt who not only made the journey up the M11 from London but helped with the food, serving drinks and then the daunting task of tidying up the hall. Thank you so much, don't know what we would have done without you!
